Founded in 2023, Miter Point was built on trust, perseverance, and a belief in people. Owner Garrett brings a deep respect for the trade and is always eager to share the knowledge that was generously passed down to him. Giving back is not just a value—it’s a responsibility.
My Story
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Garrett got his start in the construction industry by helping his parents remodel and maintain rental properties. That early exposure sparked a passion for woodworking, a fascination with tools, and a drive to take on more.
Over the years, Garrett worked alongside some of the most talented, intense, and respected carpenters in the field—many of whom remain close friends and mentors today. His journey took him across more than 10 states, where he honed his skills on high-end carpentry projects and gained invaluable experience working with a wide range of materials, job sites, and conditions.
